REposting for Blood Bowl fans

VOL 28 - SEPTEMBER 2015      View Online               Translate
Has there ever been a more exciting time to be a Blood Bowl player? We have a shiny new game coming in the next few weeks from Cyanide, over 900 people coming to Italy for the BB World Cup, and it seems that every day there are new Kickstarters for miniatures and other goodies.  On top of that, there are more Podcasts about BB than anyone has time to listen to!  So it seems like a great time to find out what YOUR Blood Bowl habits are in the...
You have until 15th October to fill it in, and we want to hear from as many BB players as possible, so please do spread the word.  We will be contacting Cyanide, Fumbbl and as many tabletop players as we can, but won't reach everwhere, so stick it on your own forums too!  It should take about 10 minutes, and has a box at the end for any views not covered...
As I type this the Chaos Cup is in full flow (above), following on from the Spike! trophy last weekend, won by Apocalypto and his Chaos Dwarves.  There has been a lot of social media chat about this tournament, not least by Scott Prime, host of the Both Down podcast.  He's celebrating joining the ranks of those who have played 24 races, but he's made it special by doing it in only 24 tournaments!  Congratulations to him, hear him discuss it in their latest.
Hopefully if you are going to the World Cup you are receiving their email updates - if not, get in touch! There is a lot of work going on, and you can read about some of it in the latest minutes from the NAF committee.  Only a couple of months to go now, and lots of the competitors are painting special teams or getting in practise, including in the Fumbbl World Cup Warm Up!
And finally, tournament news - the dates for the NAF Championship 2016 are announced as 30/4/16 and 1/5/16 in Nottinham, England.  There is always a big international attendance, so start making plans now!  The map on the right can be found on thenaf.net, and shows all upcoming tournaments.  Including one in the Indian Ocean, it seems...
Your next newsletter will very likely be announcing the results of the survey, and be just before the World Cup and after the launch of Blood Bowl 2, so there will be much excitement.  Until then, happy Blood Bowling!
